Mortgage Operations Manager - Saxton Mortgage, LLC

Job Description

The Mortgage Operations Manager will oversee all aspects of mortgage loan operations, including processing, underwriting, closing, and post-closing. This individual will manage and mentor operations staff, maintain pipeline efficiency, ensure compliance with investor and regulatory guidelines, and drive service-level performance.

Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in mortgage operations, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role.
Deep understanding of conventional, FHA, VA, and Jumbo loan programs and guidelines.
Strong leadership, team-building, and communication skills.
Proficiency with loan origination systems (e.g., Encompass, Empower) and compliance software.
Strong knowledge of federal and state lending regulations (TRID, RESPA, HMDA, etc.).
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

Manage daily operations of the loan pipeline, ensuring timely and compliant processing, underwriting, closing, and funding.
Lead, train, and support a team of processors, underwriters, and closers to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards.
Collaborate with Loan Officers, Sales Managers, and Senior Leadership to troubleshoot pipeline issues and improve customer experience.
Develop and maintain operational policies, workflows, and service level expectations.
Monitor regulatory and investor compliance, including QC and audit requirements.
Implement and manage technology tools (LOS, AUS, compliance systems) to optimize productivity.
Provide regular reporting on pipeline status, turn times, and operational KPIs
